What PriceDecode collects, why, who else sees it, and how to make us stop. Written to be checked, not skimmed past. Last updated October 2026.

What we collect

Categories of data PriceDecode collects and the reason for each.
What Why we hold it
Account details - your name, email address, phone number and password To create and secure your account and to pay you. Passwords are stored hashed, so nobody here can read yours. Email and phone changes are confirmed by one-time code.
Shopping activity - the stores and offers you click, the tracking code we generate, the time of the click, and where you arrived from This is the mechanism of cashback. Without a record of your click, a store has nothing to match your order against and no cashback can be paid.
Technical data with each click - your IP address and browser user agent To attribute orders correctly, to investigate claims about orders that did not track, and to detect automated abuse of the click and share2earn systems.
Order and earnings data - order reference, purchase date and amount, the commission the store reports, and your pending, confirmed and cancelled balances To calculate what you have earned and to show you why a figure is what it is. This comes to us from the store, not from your device.
Payout details - the bank details you give us to receive a withdrawal Used only to send you your money. We do not use them for anything else and we do not share them with stores.
Things you send us - support messages, missing-order claims, and the proof of purchase attached to them To answer you, and to put a claim to the store with the evidence it requires.
Newsletter subscription - your email address and your choices Only if you ask for it. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and your preferences are editable in your dashboard settings.

Cookies, and the one that matters

We set a session cookie so you stay logged in, and a small number of cookies that keep the site working. Those are not optional - without them there is no login.

Then there is the affiliate cookie. When you click through to a store, that store's tracking cookie is what tells it the order came from PriceDecode. Block it, clear it mid-purchase, or let another coupon extension overwrite it, and your cashback does not happen - not because we withheld it, but because the store never attributed the sale. This is worth knowing before you tune your browser.

Who else gets your data

We do not sell your personal information. We share it in these situations and no others:

Third parties that receive data from PriceDecode and what they receive.
Who What they get, and why
Stores and their affiliate networksThe click reference for your visit, so your order can be attributed and paid. When you file a claim, the order details and proof you gave us go with it.
Google AnalyticsAggregated usage of pages, so we can see what is used and what is broken.
Microsoft ClarityAnonymised interaction data used to find layout and usability problems.
Google reCAPTCHASignals from login, signup and subscription forms, to keep bots out. Loaded only when you touch one of those forms.
Our email providerYour address and the message, to deliver account emails and anything you subscribed to.
Banks and payment railsWhat is needed to move your withdrawal into your account.
AuthoritiesOnly where the law requires it, or where we must act on fraud.

How long we keep it

  • While your account is open, we keep your account details, click history, earnings and payout records - they are what the service is made of, and a claim about an old order cannot be answered without them.
  • After you close your account, we delete what we no longer need and keep only what we must: records of money paid, which we are required to retain for tax and accounting, and a minimal record of fraud where an account was closed for abuse.
  • Support messages and claims are kept while they are open and for a reasonable period after, so a reopened question has its history.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy.
  • Correct anything that is wrong. Your name, phone and email preferences are editable in your dashboard already.
  • Delete your account and the data we are not required to keep. Withdraw your confirmed balance first - a closed account cannot pay out.
  • Stop marketing email. Use the unsubscribe link or your dashboard settings; account and transaction emails continue, because they are not marketing.
  • Withdraw consent for anything you opted into.

Write to support@pricedecode.in. We acknowledge within 24 hours. We may ask you to confirm your identity first - that check protects you, since an account with money in it is worth impersonating.

How we protect it

  • Passwords are hashed, never stored in a readable form.
  • Email and phone changes require a one-time code sent to the address or number on record.
  • The site is served over HTTPS with a content security policy restricting what may run on the page.
  • Administrative access is restricted to the people who need it, and admin actions are written to an audit log.
  • Login, signup and subscription forms are protected against automated abuse.

No system is perfect. If we ever find a breach that affects you, we will tell you and say what we are doing about it.

Children

PriceDecode is for adults. It is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has created an account, tell us and we will remove it.

Changes, and how to complain

When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be communicated to account holders.

Questions, complaints and grievances about privacy go to support@pricedecode.in or the contact form. We acknowledge within 24 hours and aim to resolve within 15 days. This policy is governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Mumbai have exclusive jurisdiction.
