Cashback terms and timelines
Every number that governs your earnings, on one page: how long confirmation takes, what you can withdraw and when, how long you have to claim a missing order, and the reasons cashback gets rejected. No asterisks.
The numbers
| What | Where it stands |
|---|---|
| Cashback confirmation | 30-90 days after the order, once the merchant validates it |
| Minimum withdrawal | ₹250 of confirmed cashback |
| Withdrawal fee | None |
| Balance expiry | Never - a confirmed balance stays until you withdraw it |
| Missing-order claim deadline | 7th of the following month |
| Claim forwarded to the merchant | 48-72 hours after you file it |
| Support response | Within 24 hours |
Tracking and confirmation windows differ by merchant. Each store page carries its own estimated tracking time and validation window next to the rate, and those are the ones that apply to your order.
Pending, confirmed, cancelled
- Pending is an estimate. It appears once your tracked order is reported, and it can move up or down - a rate can differ for new and existing customers, and merchants exclude things like GST and delivery from the amount they pay on. It cannot be withdrawn yet.
- Confirmed is yours. The merchant has validated the order and the return window has closed. This is your withdrawable balance.
- Cancelled means the merchant rejected it - usually a return, a cancellation, an exchange, or terms that were not met. We pass that decision on as given; see the editorial policy for why we do not overturn it.
What stops an order tracking
Most missing cashback is one of these, and all of them are avoidable:
- The cart was not empty when you activated.
- The purchase was finished later, in a different session.
- An ad-blocker or another coupon or cashback extension was running.
- A price-comparison link or widget was clicked after activating.
- A coupon from somewhere other than PriceDecode was applied at checkout.
- The order fell outside the merchant's terms for that offer.
Some stores do not pay cashback at all. That is stated on the store page before you click, never after.
Claiming a missing order
File by the 7th of the month after the order - an order from July can be claimed until 7 August. Wait for the order to settle first; a claim on an order the merchant has not reported yet cannot be traced.
Have this ready, because a claim without it will not survive merchant review:
- The date and time you clicked through from PriceDecode
- Your Order ID
- The purchase amount and date
- Proof of purchase - the order confirmation email is enough
One claim per order. Your claim opens, moves to Pending when we forward it to the merchant within 48 to 72 hours, and closes as Confirmed or Cancelled on the merchant's decision. That decision is final on their side, and we will tell you either way.
Withdrawing
Once your confirmed balance reaches ₹250 you can withdraw it from your dashboard, straight to your bank account, with no fee from us. Bank processing occasionally takes an extra day or two. If a transfer is cancelled at the bank's end, the amount returns to your available balance automatically so you can request it again.
Balances cannot be moved between PriceDecode accounts, even if you hold more than one.
Common questions
How long does PriceDecode cashback take to confirm?
Cashback lands as Pending and moves to Confirmed after the merchant validates the order, usually within 30 to 90 days. The wait exists because a merchant cannot confirm an order until its return window has closed.
What is the minimum cashback withdrawal on PriceDecode?
The minimum withdrawal is ₹250 of confirmed cashback. PriceDecode charges no withdrawal fee, and a confirmed balance never expires.
By when do I have to claim a missing order?
Submit a missing-order claim by the 7th of the month after the order was placed. An order placed in July can be claimed until 7 August.
What do I need to file a missing cashback claim?
The click date and time, your Order ID, the purchase amount, the purchase date, and proof of purchase such as the order confirmation email. Claims without proof of purchase are rejected by merchants.
Why was my cashback cancelled?
Cashback is usually cancelled because the order was returned, cancelled or exchanged, or because it did not meet the merchant terms. Tracking also fails when the cart was not empty, the purchase was finished in a later session, an ad-blocker or another cashback extension was active, or a price-comparison link was clicked after activating.
